Sound With Us was born out of pure passion. Our pride & joy is taking care of all your live entertainment needs from start to finish, so you can relax, enjoy and tend to your guests. A one-of-a-kind concept, Sound With Us specialises in cross-genre performances with roaming live instruments. From DJs or solo musicians to 12-piece show bands - You choose your preferred lineup, and we tailor the sets to include your song requests from any genre & era, creating a bespoke programme that is exclusive to your event only.

We interact with your guests on the dancefloor for a real show-stopping buzz that elevates the human experience and transcends cultural boundaries.

Lilac Sheer - Lead vocalist, singing-guitarist & manager for our bands, is an accomplished singer-songwriter & session vocalist who's toured extensively worldwide & recorded several original albums, as well as vocals & voice over for some big company names. When Lilac takes the stage, she encourages participation & makes the crowd feel like they're part of the show.

Remko Rietmeijer - DJ, sound & lighting engineer, was born with music in his veins, rocking the cassette decks and turntables from an early age. He’s had an extensive career in TV, AV and live events, but his true passion always remained live music. Remko makes Sound With Us bands sound incredible and turns any hall into an impressive spectacle using high-end lighting.

Creep...y?

Did you know that we once played a version of Creep in front Courtney Love? - That's right! On NYE 2019 we had the pleasure of performing the hit song Creep in a Postmodern Jukebox swingy style version for a celebration at London's famous Chiltern Firehouse, only to discover that late Curt Cobain's wife, the legendary Courtney Love was in the audience and loved our performance!

80s throwback!

Did you know that we once played Keep Me Hanging On especially for Kim Wild? - Back in 2022 One of our gorgeous couples Emily & Andy, asked us to prepare a cover of the famous 80s hit as a surprise for none other than Kim Wild herself, who attended their wedding being one of the groom's mother's close friends.

From Old to Bold!

On the Marth 17th 2024 we've experienced quite the eventful St. Patrick's Day, starting with an Irish set for an old folks home and ending with a crazy Irish party at London's prestigious strip club Platinum Lace. Talk about playing to Extremes!

Did you know that our no.1 most popular guest comment when attending our events is: 'I thought this was the original track playing, only to realise it was your band playing live!

Breaking the record!

Did you know we were once asked to provide 6 (!!) different genre line-ups for 1 wedding? That's right.We had the pleasure of offering a flamenco guitarist for their ceremony and a jazz trio for drinks reception, followed by Jewish hora dancing, a Scottish ceilidh set with a caller, a 7pc disco band and closing with a trendy Ibiza style manned DJ set and roaming saxophone.

Cookiest Cosplay!

Some of the coolest themes we've ever had the pleasure of indulging in include a Pirates of the Caribbean party, the WitchFest Festival, a Viking wedding, and of course The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 film premiere. As we like to say: Where there's a theme, there's a way!

The way they interacted with the crowd and moved around the dance floor was unique – the dance floor was full all night! They were delightful to work with in the buildup and everything from booking to the end of the night went so smoothly. We also booked a DJ through them and the transition on the night from band to DJ was seamless. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone wanting an epic band on their wedding day!
